SmartEdge Trading (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides the SmartEdge EA software and related materials. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting personal data in connection with your use of our website, software, and services.
1. Data Controller
SmartEdge Trading acts as the data controller for information you provide directly to us (e.g., account and order details). Where third-party processors are used (e.g., payment providers), they may act as independent controllers for their processing.
2. Information We Collect
- Account, App & Order Data: name, email address, SmartEdge Analytics account and verification status, plan or entitlement status, order details, and support communications.
- License & Usage Data: license keys, activation/validation timestamps, bound MT4 account number, and license status (active/expired/deactivated).
- Technical Data: IP address, device/browser info, pages viewed, and basic logs used for fraud prevention, abuse monitoring, and service security.
- Payment & Subscription Metadata: payment details are handled by the applicable payment provider. We may receive transaction identifiers, status, product, expiry, and Google Play purchase-token or subscription-verification metadata, but not full card numbers or your Google account password.
- Communications: your messages via email, forms, or support channels (e.g., Telegram) to resolve issues or respond to inquiries.
3. Legal Bases & Purposes
- Contract: provide access to SmartEdge EA, process orders, create/manage licenses, and deliver support.
- Legitimate Interests: service security, preventing abuse, improving features, and keeping appropriate records.
- Consent: optional marketing or communications where legally required—can be withdrawn at any time.
- Legal Obligations: comply with tax, accounting, and anti-fraud requirements.
4. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined or as required by law. License and audit logs may be retained for security and compliance, typically not exceeding 24 months after account closure unless a longer period is required.
SmartEdge Analytics Account Deletion
SmartEdge Analytics users may permanently delete their account or request deletion through our public Account Deletion page. We may verify ownership using the registered email address before processing a public request.
Deleting a SmartEdge Analytics account removes the account profile, email, name, password hash, verification and plan status, SmartEdge-held Google Play subscription-verification records, and pending OTP registration records associated with that app account.
Deletion does not automatically cancel recurring Google Play billing. Users must separately manage or cancel their subscription through Google Play. Deletion-request correspondence and limited records required for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, accounting, or legal obligations may be retained where necessary, normally for no longer than 24 months unless a longer period is legally required. SmartEdge EA licensing, website orders, and payment records are separate from the SmartEdge Analytics app account.
5. Sharing
- Processors: hosting providers, email services, and payment processors operating under agreements consistent with this Policy.
- Legal & Safety: disclosures to competent authorities when required by law or to protect rights and users.
- Affiliates/Partners: we may share non-sensitive operational statistics and referral information; we do not sell personal data.
6. International Transfers
Our infrastructure or processors may be located in other countries. Where applicable, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., contractual clauses) to protect your data during transfer.
7. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal data (e.g., server hardening, restricted database access, encryption in transit). No system is fully secure; users should also protect their credentials and devices.
8. Your Rights
